Biographie

Kodjo Agbossou a eu son diplôme Bac (1987), M.S. (1989) Ph.D. (1992) dans le domaine de l’Instrumentation électronique de l’Université de Nancy I, France. Il a été Ingénieur documentaliste à Nancy (1992-1993), chercheur post-doctoral (1993-1994), chargé de cours et professionnel au département de Génie électrique (1995- 1998). Il a été aussi chargé de projet au Laboratoire “Ultrasonique et capteur, Directeur des études de cycles supérieurs du département de Génie électrique UQTR (2002-2004) et Directeur du comité de 1er cycle en 2007. Il a également été directeur du département de Génie électrique et génie informatique de l’UQTR (2007-2011).

M. Agbossou est actuellement Directeur de l’école d’ingénierie et professeur titulaire du département de Génie électrique et génie informatique à l’Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) et expert et consultation pour plusieurs compagnies. Il est responsable à l’Institut de recherche sur l’hydrogène de l’UQTR des projets dans le domaine de Systèmes de production décentralisée et d’énergies renouvelables basés sur l’hydrogène et aussi des projets sur les véhicules électriques et à hydrogène. Il est auteur de plus de 100 articles scientifiques et détient 4 brevets d’invention. Pr Agbossou a donné plusieurs conférences scientifiques importantes dans plusieurs pays à travers le monde et participé à plusieurs émissions radios et télévisées sur des sujets de développement durable. Il est membre de l’Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec depuis 1998. Pr Agbossou est aussi membre sénior de « Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers » (IEEE) et ancien président de la Section Saint Maurice IEEE, QC, Canada.
